Navratri is one of the most important Hindu festivals celebrated for nine days twice in a year. Hindus from all over the world celebrate Navratra with enthusiasm and fervor. While some take part in the festivities for religious reasons, others look to give their body a much-required detox and lose weight.

Navratri Diet Plan For Weight Loss

Breakfast options (choose any one) - 8 AM - 9 AM

  1. Take 3 medium sized bananas. Along with 6 almonds.
  2. A mug full of milk with 6 crushed and mixed almonds.

Mid-morning options (choose any one) - 11 AM - 12 PM

  1. Lemon water or Coconut water
  2. Green Tea or Regular Tea.

Lunch options (choose any one) - 01 PM - 02 PM

  1. 100 gram Sweet Potato. You Can either Boil or Bake it. The Oven one is very tasty even without salt or anything else. If you include this in your lunch, then you will get a lot of energy.
  2. Baked Sabudana Tikki with veggies and curd
  3. Kuttu chapatti with vegetables and salad with raita
  4. A big bowl of fruits ( but no bananas ).

 Evening time - 04 PM - 5 PM

Green Tea or Regular Tea with baked chips/roasted makhana/baked namkeen

Dinner options (choose any one) - 08 PM - 09 PM

  1. A huge plate full of salad made with carrots, cabbage, steamed cauliflower, tomato and capsicum. 

    100 gm thick curd with grated cucumber/bottle gourd and rai tadka in half tsp olive oil.
  2. Magic Soup & full plate of salad
  3. Milk with fruits or salad
